FMQ

FMQ?   Free motion quilting.  Its scarey once those feed dogs have been lowered and you have to control the speed, stitch size and direction but great fun too.  Rachelle Denneny is a fabulous teacher and one of the best FMQers in Australia.  After many hundreds of hours this is what she produces

After a couple of hours doodling - here are my first attempts

getting plenty of practice on these little glasses cases for the Craft Sale

Royal Visit

I am afraid I couldn't be bother to rush into town to catch a glimpse of Charles and Camilla.  They are only in town for 6 hours and not 'on view' much.  They are not very popular with the majority of the population when they are known as 'Jug Ears and the Rottweiler'!!!!

They are mainly to be seen around the Torrens Lake, Rowing Club Noat House and International Centre (food and wine tasting) before a send of from Government House (been there)
Here's me earlier in the year sitting in the Queen's favourite chair in Government House!

Cheeky Crow

We have a frequent visitor who keeps coming up to the patio doors and spends hours wandering around the veranda.  Its a very tame crow who looks like he's been bullied as his head has a few bald patches.

Not often you see a bird standing on a cat's back (even if it is made of stone)
