Christies's Beach
Looked after the girls for the day. Morning - craft, park, fruit break then off to the beach for a splash and play.
Can't believe we're well into Autumn. Many of the dog walkers were wearing coats or jumpers but the girls were happy to splash about in the sea and we managed a paddle too.
After a lunch of rice with either butter chicken or beef teryaki followed by fruit and icecream we went to the cinema to see the Croods in 3D. Similar day planned for next Tuesday when we have the girls again.

Just a Perfect Day
Saturday was a lovely warm and sunny Autumn Day and, as Clive was playing bowls all day, I decided to have a 'me' day.
Drove to the Pathwork Cow in McLaren Vale for a browse and to sign up for a class. Had a good walk round all the lovely food shops (plenty of nuts, olives etc for sampling) and sat out on the veranda of the Cottage Bakery with a delicious Foccacia - roast pumpkin, sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, spinach ...... and a mug of coffee.
Popped down to Maslin Beach (not the 'unclad' end) and just sat and watched the sea - the water was turquoise and the views stunning.
Came back via the Garden Centre, McLaren Flat and Blewitt Springs and stopped off at Shottesbrooke's for a bit of wine-tasting. A great Day out!
