September 2012, a set on Flickr.

After a visit to the AAMI Stadium to see the crows and a family meal for Fathers Day we were off to the Yorke Peninsular for a few days.

No time to enjoy that 'rested' feeling as we spent the day at the Royal adelaide Show with the girls. Great fun but exhausting!

Enjoyed a few days away in the Yorke Peninsular.  Bright and sunny but very windy on Wednesday and Thursday.  Our cabin at Port Broughton was right on the waterfront with wonderful sunset views.

We visited the Copper Coast and the interesting town of Moonta. Some great place names including Cream Puff Corner.  Want to visit Tiddy Widdy Beach next time!

Callum Hann

Had a great morning at Willunga Market. The 2010 runner up and 2012 All-Stars Masterchef Champion, Callum Hann from Barossa, SA, was cooking up a storm. Such a talented and lovely young man. I even got to taste one of his dishes - Lamb with fennel and apple salad in a watercress and lemon mayonnaise.

Welcome Home

Braved the awful weather and popped into the City to welcome the Australian Olympians.  We drove to Glenelg and caught the tram.  by the time we got to the City the rain had stopped and the sun came out for over an hour.  Saw several medalists and got some good photos.

Hurry up Spring

Meet Bailey - The new family pet Golden Retriever - he's a handsome boy!
We're having one of the longest, coldest, wettest Winters for many years - not what we were expecting for our first Winter Down Under.  No wonder I've taken to quilt making - they keep you warm while you work (well stitching on the binding anyway)

Here are my latest ones
 Gumnut Babies - lap quilt
 Red Flower - table runner
 Bailey's Blanket

Dragonfly - lap quilt
