Carrick Hill

Enjoyed our trip to Carrick Hill with The PROBUS Group.  Tried out my new camera for the first time.  Have hardly seen the sun for three weeks.  Looking forward to a sunny day and nice sunset to give it a good workout!

Crows Night Game

Had a great time watching the Crows win at the Oval.  The new lights were switched on for the first time tonight on the riverbank and bridge

Too busy to blog

Can't believe how quiet I've been on here recently.  Life is as hectic as ever but I only seem to have time for quick Facebook posts at the moment.

Enjoying my new piano and spend a few relaxing hours playing for pleasure each week.  My 'job' as musical director/worship leader at church is taking lots of time as Sam's leaving has left a huge gap. Its challenging but something I love doing.
Nothing to do with pianos but couldn't resist sharing this photo

Sewing has taken a back seat for a while as I slowly plod on with my UFOs (unfinished objects).  Adding the backing and quilting mean lots of spending (cash that is) as large projects are generally sent away to be quilted professionally.  Medium sized ones are still quite large to fit in the throat of my little Janome.  At least I'm finishing off several table runners, glasses cases and place mats.

Have been watching the girls playing tennis, soccer and netball and amazed how well they are doing.  No wonder Australia produces so many good sportsmen and women - there's always plenty of clubs and organisations to join in every local community.

Winter is finally upon us with night temperatures getting below 8 degrees and day time struggling to get above 16 now, even on sunny days.  Had a lovely walk through the National Park to Morialta Falls at the weekend and Clarendon a couple of weeks ago

Celebrated our 44th Wedding Anniversary on the 6th June at the Salopian Inn in McLaren Vale - superb food and great wine.  Will certainly go there again
Even managed to fit in a Mystery Coach tour around the Adelaide hills to catch the last of the Autumn leaves
