Had a trip down the Limestone Coast to escape the heat of Adelaide. Welcome Breeze at Beachport and a few degrees cooler at Mount Gambier and Robe.
The views from the Bowman Scenic Route were stunning with waves crashing on he beach from turquoise seas.
The journey began via Mount Barker and the Wellington Ferry to Meningie on Lake Albert, then along the Coorong to Kington S E with its giant lobster. Robe was busy but managed a late lunch of delicious fish and chips before heading to Beachport in time for the famous Duck Race.
The second day we visited the Blue Lake and sink holes at Mount Gambier via Millicent and the homeward journey on Monday was via Penola, Naracoorte, Coonawarra, Tailem Bend and Murray Bridge
