McLaren Vale

Had a great day yesterday around McLaren Vale. Simeon's ship was a little late arriving due to bad weather on the journey from Hobart but we still managed to see and do lots.

Quick stops at Semaphore, Glenelg, Brighton to admire the beaches - coffee break at the Teal Turtle at Port Noarlunga, picture opportunities at Southport with great views over the mouth of the Onkaparinga River - Wine tasting at Angove and Chapel Hill, almonds and olives at the Almond Train, delicious lunch at the Blessed Cheese before more wine and an impromptu 'concert' by Simeon at Hugh Hamilton's picturesque winery.

Back home through the hills and Clarendon for afternoon tea and a short break at our house before a great evening meal at the Belair Hotel (Amazing soft shell crab salad) coffees and back to the airport via Windy Point for a final view over the City.
