We received a call to say a young couple wanted to view our house last night. They were delayed by traffic on the M25 but seemed impressed and indicated our house was just what they were looking for. They were here for 40 minutes and we got on so well I couldn't help hoping they might become the new owners.
I had a very restless night (for the 3rd time this week) but was so excited when the agent phoned at 9.30 this morning with a 'reasonable' offer. After a tiny adjustment we agreed a price and our house is now officially under offer (subject to contracts etc....)
We have a few more nail-biting and very hectic weeks ahead of us but, if all goes well, we hope to be on our way by the end of the Summer holidays and ready to begin our new life in Adelaide in their Springtime. I hope Paul and Kelly will be as happy here as we have been. I couldn't have wished for better buyers. Watch this space!
