South Australia Museum

The South Australian Museum houses over four million objects and specimens. They provide irreplaceable records against which we are constantly building and modifying our knowledge and understanding of the natural and cultural world. They are a vital part of Australia's national heritage and play an integral role in the international scientific accord to document our world.

Huge number of sections all under the one roof and 2 hours only gave a brief outline af what's there.  There are 3 floors and numerous galleries to see including;

Aboriginal Material Culture, Archaeology, Australian Polar Collection, Evolutionary Biology Unit, Foreign Ethnology, Herpetology, History of Science, Terrestrial Invertebrates, Ichthyology, Mammalogy, Marine Invertebrates, Mineralogy (my favourite), Palaeontology....  and much more .....
