This is a lovely time of year in the hills of Adelaide. The grass is still green before the summer heat scorches it and the Spring flowers are so colourful. The wattle has been replaced by the bottlebrush trees and the roses and bursting into colour and perfume as the earlier bulbs begin to die down.
Last week we had a short walk round the Botanical Gardens on Mount Lofty to see the azaleas and rhodedendrons and we hope to get back soon to see the rose gardens.
